2010 District Pinewood Derby (March 20, 2010)
This year's district Pinewood Derby will be held on March 20th and will take place at the Towne Square Mall, located at 5000 Frederica Street in Owensboro. 2010 Riverbend District/KCTCS-Owensboro Campus Merit Badge University (April 24, 2010)
The 2010 Riverbend District/Kentucky Community and Technical College System - Owensboro Campus Merit Badge University will be held on April 24th and will take place at the Owensboro Campus, located at 4800 New Hartford Road, in Owensboro. Registration information and merit badges offered will be available at the March District roundtable, so make plans to be there!
2010 Council President's Unit Award
At the annual business meeting held in December 2009, the Council President, Mr. Phil Pfeffer, announed the implementation of this new unit award. This award incorporates the 2010 Centennial Quality Unit Award, the National Council's benchmarks for quality units with areas that the council would like to see units improve. Some of these areas include leader training, and participation and attendance at your district's roundtable. For more information, click here.
