Scouts at the Capitol  - February 15, 2011

On February 15th, 2011, State Representative Ben Waide sponsored "Scouts at the Capitol."  This event gave Scouts and their leaders from all over the Commonwealth of Kentucky an opportuntiy to see Kentucky's state legislature in action and many other activites.

A special statement by Representative Ben Waide:

On February 15th, 2011, over 1,500 Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Scout leaders, and their families converged on the Capitol Building rankfort on what will be remembered as the 1st Annual Boy Scout Day at the Capitol.  They were met with open arms by the Governor, President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, and me.  I am honored to have been a part of that memorial day. 

I hope everyone will mark their calendar for Tuesday, February 21st of 2012 and join us for the expanded and much improved, no big-line 2nd Annual Boy Scouts at the Capitol Day.
