We need your picutres of events for the local media and our webpage!!  Please send your pictures to Michael Delaney, Marketing Chair for the district.  Be sure to inlcude a description of the event including place, time, and purpose.

Get the word out!!
The best way for you to get and retain boys is to publish their events and awards.  Please take a minute and send Michael Delaney a summary of what your unit is doing.  Be sure to include a picture as well.  I will be working with your local media to get the word out about scouting.  Click the email link above to help spread the news!!

Nominations for District Award of Merit & Distinguished Leadership Citations must be submitted by Dec. 18^th at the District Committee meeting. Please e-mail nomination form to Pat Kvietkus or bring to the meeting. Click link for nomination form.

2010 National Scout Jamboree promo: Please contact Ron Hubbard Jr. to set up a jamboree promo at your troop meeting or pack meeting (for Webelos II (5^th graders) only) in November or December.

Klondike Derby:  January 16-17 at Camp Roy C. Manchester

Alottawatta District Banquet: Saturday, January 31^st, 2009 – 6:00pm at VFW in Cadiz, Ky

February Events:

Scout Night at MSU basketball game: Saturday, February 28^th, 2009. Contact: Michael Delaney if your unit plans to attend.
